Smoking Persuasive Speech - 811 Words
Have you ever choked on someoneââ¬â¢s second hand smoke? Well I have. In the world there are fifteen billion cigarettes sold a day. That is ten million sold every minute! In this, I will be telling you about how smoking is bad for you, bad for the environment, and ways smoking in public can be stopped. Smoking should be banned! First of all, as almost everyone knows, smoking is bad for people. When people smoke their chances of having a heart attack go up immediately. Also the chances of getting cancer go up as well. Now, people are probably thinking, ââ¬Å" Well why donââ¬â¢t just use the over the counter products that are on television?â⬠The reason I am not using these is because the amount of side effects and symptoms from these is outrageous. So if people are against the past suggestions, another is that they could is try for a period of time to stop smoking all together and see the benefits of the other side. A great example of these challenges is Morgan Spurlock, he sets thirty day challenges and sees if he is able t o complete them. I recommend this to people because it is probably the best way to stop smoking. * Now other people who disagree with these reasons will probably say that people donââ¬â¢t have enough time to get enough exercise to completely pull them away from smoking.
